2 Registered Nurse roles available! 1-We are looking for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse with experience in patient-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-based care for the Mental Health and Addiction Intensive Outreach Team in Medicine Hat. Services will be community-based and recovery-oriented towards adults experiencing complex addiction and/or mental health issues and homelessness. Working within the RN scope of practice, you will provide addiction and mental health assessments for clients to determine physical and mental health stability, treatment planning and implementation, case management, psychosocial interventions and monitoring of both patient physical and addiction/mental health issues. 2-Intensive Outreach and Diversion Services in Medicine Hat is looking for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the psychiatric care and behavior management of adults living in Riverview, a specialty mental health facility. Operating within a multi-disciplinary team, the RN will be responsible for providing a psychiatric lens to assist sites with monitoring the resident's psychiatric presentation, medications and will be responsible for continuous assessment and follow-up of the resident during their involvement. The RN directly supports the psychiatrist, providing clinical summaries around the resident's presentation.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the addiction and mental health system and resources in the Medicine Hat and understanding the clinical aspects of addictions and mental illness across all populations in the continuum of care, including the mental health act. Knowledge of and experience with case managing individuals on Community Treatment Orders. Strong computer and technical skills.
